Appeal following serious collision in Rickmansworth

Officers are appealing for information, witnesses and dash cam footage following a serious collision in Rickmansworth.

The incident occurred at around 8.05pm on Sunday 19 April in Tolpits Lane near to the junction with Moor Lane Crossing.

Three vehicles were involved, a black Seat Ibiza, a black Mercedes C250 and a white Toyota Aygo.

Three people sustained serious injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

Two 20-year-old men have now been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. 

Sergeant Shona Searle from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have been travelling in the area at the time and witnessed the events leading up to the collision to please get in touch.

“If you have a dash cam fitted, please review your footage as you may have captured something which could help us progress our enquiries.”
